The Oorilewa Story

Oorilewa is established and manufactured by Amacs Corporation, headquartered in Shizuoka, Japan – a global trading company. Oorilewa, which means “Beauty of Shea” in Yoruba; an Africa language, was developed with the focus on providing consumers high-quality essential oil that is vital for the skin. Through dedicated efforts, Amacs Corporation succeeded in incorporating Africa’s finest Shea butter as the key ingredient in Oorilewa skincare products. Since its inauguration, Oorilewa has become one of Japan’s popular brands and is extended to the Singapore market by Y’S TECH WEST PTE LTD – the sole distributor of Oorilewa products in Singapore.

Oorilewa’s Shea butter is extracted from fruits of Shea trees grown naturally in 16 countries across Western and Central Africa. The benefits of Shea butter have been well known for centuries. Africans have used Shea butter for many generations to protect and rejuvenate their hair and skin. What’s more, Shea butter is effective in treating many skin problems such as fading scars, eczema, burns, rashes, acne, severely dry skin, blemishes, dark spots, skin discoloration, stretch marks, wrinkles and many more.

All our products are manufactured with the utmost care to the environment and we strive to conduct business that harmonizes the society and environment, support the Africa people’s lives and contribute economic stability through fair-trade. We developed growing technologies with local farmers based on traditional methods without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
